| The Story
This story very short really. Phoebe was introduced to me by Chinky. The 3 of
us hung out quite a bit. Chinky tried to set us up but neither one of us would go
for it. Everything was fine. Then one night the 3 of us went to a social and
it seems like Phoebe had tooo much of a good time hanging out with me and developed a
crush on me. I didn't know this. Chinky found out from his girlfriend who was good
friends with Phoebe. When Chinky told me, I didn't believe him cuz I knew about the
bullshit he told both of us when he was trying to set us up.
Chinky's girlfriend had a party a bit later and Phoebe was
there too. When we were alone (Phoebe and I) after a long night of me trying to hit
on someone else, Phoebe said to me "Hey Corky, I had a lot of fun with you the other
night. In fact I always have a good time with you. Would you go out with
me?" Oh fuck. What could I say without hurting her feelings? I said
"Phoebe, I would but I've had this crush on this girl in one of my classes and we're
actually seeing eachother qute steadily right now" I don't think she bought it.
She chugged the rest of her alcohol and drove away. I haven't seen or heard
of her since.
